You know how I lost some equipment in Melbourne, and was worried about how I was going to afford to replace it? Well, I don’t need to worry anymore because my crowdfunding campaign is $57 away from hitting its target. There are 48 days left. I just don’t even know what to say except a huge thankyou.
I’ve never done crowdfunding before. I’ve seen friends run successful campaigns to fund their projects, but this wasn’t really a project. This was a “help me fix my mistake so I can keep making art please”. I spent yesterday painting art for those who had ordered art through the pozible, and once my camera and lens arrive I’ll start to book in the photography :)
I want to make special mention of the support I received from the Melbourne Ukulele Festival during this campaign. Not only have they made me feel the most welcome I’ve ever felt in Melbourne but the help they’ve given me (both financially and through sharing the campaign via facebook) has really contributed to the success. I’ll be returning next year to perform and give a workshop :) If you happen to be in Melbourne around that time you should totally come. It’s so good :D
So yeah, if you want to help me knock out the last $57 on my pozible you can see the creative goodies I have on offer here! www.pozible.com/project/lost-equipment-sadness-fund
